There are many sites that will cater to these fantasies.
I carry two kinds of trauma kits. One for fixing it and one for causing it.

Even if terrible things showed up on the door step the process would still be the same. Break things down into small problems and figure out ways to work the problem. It hasn't happened yet on any kind of scale but something like Russia, China and still to some extent North Korea hitting us with some sort of EMP attack is a possibility of a first strike to throw everything into disarray. Its more esoteric right now but you still have to put context into the situation. Like considering how you'd get home if all of the sudden the region didn't have power... like in 2003 in the Northeast. Where people in New York had to walk because they didn't have cars or public transportation available...

Not sure the context will be the same for all regions. Yes, it must be broken down into smaller problems to be solved one at the time. That is exactly the information Inam talking about...the process of triage for multiple issues...priorities...the first 48...later strategies etc. I know it is vague. Currently my thought is to use what training I have coordinate it into an actual plan that will help make the best of an awful situation. Sorry if y’all think I am wasting your time. My personal concern is my age, health and physical condition reduce my ability to be effective in a life or death situation. I had triple bypass surgery in Jan. and despite the success of my surgery according to the drs, I have more problems with my heart now than before the surgery. I refuse to just give up and say there is nothing I can do.

You are making this harder then it should be. Its just a matter of scalability. Look at something that has happened and consider what you would need to get through it. Every once in a while in Colorado we get storms that will literally shut down the Denver area with 4 feet of snow for a few days. How would you prepare for being stuck in your house that long. When you and all your neighbors have to dig out the streets of your subdivision because the plows are trying to clear the main roads and highways first.

Then start living it today. That way you can learn in the safe comfort we have here and now vs failing when it really counts.
