Default ABERNETHY ON THE TRAINING MATRIX

So many parallels between karate and guns it is amazing.

I have been absolutely swamped today and have not had an opportunity to comment.

Iain’s commentary is always worthwhile. A lot of his material is obviously karate-centric, but it is almost always relevant to any martial discipline.

This one in particular is relevant and I encourage everyone here to take a look.

I thought he was talking about pistols, rifles and PDWs. Which reminds me, I need to buy more utensils.
Discipline is just choosing between what you want now and what you want most.

Well...in a sense, that IS part of it

How many times do you have somebody asking which is better a Stakeout or a PDW?

Everyone should be required to watch this. Its what Gabe, Brent, Greg and all the rest have been saying but maybe this time it will stick since its coming from a different source.

Good article, and applicable to many practices. Airborne school comes to mind...
