Curiosity on my part. Prior to this thread, bought some Uwood 115 XTP JHP +P to replenish my carry current (Corbon) ammo supply. Will try your load in +P and +P+ next.

If this works, it shows testing of the similar loading in .45 for Luddites like me.

Because my agency finally allows it I'm switching to 9mm. More pills, less weight, lower recoil. We are not carrying Lehighs on duty.

    Off-duty may be another story.

My issue M&P .40 will get a 9mm barrel next week, as a .40C to 9mm factory barrel swap worked well, and I'll buy that pistol when we go to 2.0s.

If I could score a P224 9mm barrel and a spare hammer I would be pleased as punch. The development that's gone into 9mm over the past two decades has been remarkable, and I intend to exploit it.

Ted, that XTP is a good bullet too, in the sense of a more traditional hollow point. Speaking in general terms, what I've seen with that one compared to other common designs like the Gold Dot and HST bullets is a bit less expansion and a little more penetration. That's probably a good thing in a 115gr bullet most of the time.

Same guy did another video with this ammo about two months later and included barrier testing.
It got interesting to me just past 28 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0piGeTVMZWs
