    Default Shotgun Light Ideas

So my duty shotgun does not have a light on it. It is a remington 870 police with the magpul forend. I cannot swap to a surefire system so I am looking at other options. I am curious what others experience is with both forend mounted lights and magazine tube mounted lights. I feel like the forend mounted light would be best as the light stays near my support hand as I cycle the action as opposed to the magazine tube mounted light.

I have an extra streamlight pistol light I am planning on using on it. I use the same light on my duty pistol.

Gabe had a very good set up on one of his shot guns. I am not sure exactly which light but it was very small and trim gabe had a very good set up on one of his shot guns. I am not sure exactly which light but it was very small and trim, attached with a pic rail to the foreend.

I think it was a surefire mini scout but I am not sure

Thanks. I was looking at those. I am trying to keep the setup as light as possible. I will try a few things this weekend and see what works best.
