No rust on the weapon or magazine. He's got to have access to proper cleaning materials as even in a dry climate his sweat would be rusting those magazines and the outside metal surfaces of the AK. Or else it would be shiny where he'd scraped/sanded the rust off.

Not too much lube, as there's no sign of dust/dirt accumulating at the pins, where it would run out and promote accumulation of dust.

Still has the bayonet on it. Spike bayonet, too. I would say the bayonet gets used, or he'd have had it removed to save a little bit of weight/aggravation.

No sign of a belt. How/where does he carry his extra magazines? Maybe that's why the bayonet is still on the rifle?

Even he's learned not to let the tusks smacking him about the face/neck distract him I'll be they still make noise when they bump against each other. Sort of like having keys in your pocket when you're sneaking around in a building in the dark. I used to use a rubber band to keep the keys tight together to eliminate the rattle, not sure how he keeps the tusks from making noise.

I have looked at this a few different times. Based in something I can see I can make some assumptions but nothing concrete with out more information. If anything it serves to tell me more about myself and any preconceived notions I have. The biggest thing I can control is myself and my skills and give myself the best ability against an enemy. This guy could a bad ass or he could be some random dude who was given a gun as a cool prop for a photo but it doesn't change anything for me.

I don't know anything about him. But I don't see any fat on him. He might have zero skill but he doesn't look soft. More than I can say for the majority if my countrymen. For all I know, he earned those tusks doing something badass.

As Dorkface said, doesn't change anything for me. But I'd not underestimate any potential enemy.

That is because the people here at WT stopped buying them. That is what happens. Did YOU buy an AK from us Chris?

He has firearms. He's an articulable threat. But he's no warrior. And judging by what little I can see of his expression, by his body language, and by how he's holding the weapon, he never has been.

I see one picture of a hunter/warrior followed by a picture of food......grisly and unappetizing but food nonetheless.
