    The only railed top cover system I haven't heard anything negative about is the Zenitco set up. But that a pretty penny in that you're looking at more than just the top cover. It also looks like the fore rail adds a lot of weight to the rifle. I haven't personally handled one tho so I can't say for sure.

    I use an ultimak with small aim point on my MAK 90. The AK is best suited as a combat carbine for 0 to two hundreds yards. I do have a saiga 308 and plan to play it a bit some day, but will use the side receiver mount for its optics.
