That's a great price, but I gotta ask: why the red/red laser with the green slide, and the green/red with the red slide?

    Not a clue...I didn't make them.

I think it's great these are in the store now. SIRT pistols are an excellent training tool, and they are money well spent.

Couldn't "get off the X" in time? (ok, sorry couldn't resist) Wow, pun taken to another level if you consider the "X" and Christmas...

This is one of the best training tools available. Most people will balk at the price, and then drop $1200 on a Kimber that they sit around and polish. A step above that are the few that will at least spend the money on ammo and training. But if you really want to push your skills to the next level, the SIRT will do it. These definitely get my endorsement.

    Added:
A note, though, about their training mags. The SIRT will accept a normal Glock magazine or any of the dummy mags made for a Glock. The SIRT training mag itself is inferior. They tend to be undersized and rattle around in the gun. This can be fixed by wrapping a little bit of tape around the mag to give it some extra girth. But my practice now is to just use my other dummy mags when training with the SIRT. I had a couple of ProMags from buying used guns, so I ripped their guts out, stuffed them with modeling clay (to add some weight), and painted the base plates blue. Those work much better than the SIRT magazines. The normal blue training mags are both less expensive and a better product.
