    Default G21 gen3 PDW

Just add the PDW and safety to one of my 21's. I have to say the advice here is spot on.

Next step is to scrape together the scratch for the rmr. I would like to send the slide out to be milled and have it np3 coated. Another option would be to mill the slide in house and say screw the coating for now. There's gun money in the budget but would like to use some of it for training.

This. Besides the rmr, the flat and straight Suarez trigger is easily my favorite upgrade.

Dollars for doughnuts, sending the slide to SI for the milling/ finishing is the best option. At the time I sent mine in (a few years back) I talked to a well respected local gunsmith before hand. He's a good friend with more experience than I have so I often consult him before I spend money. The long and short of it is that SI has done the job many times and is set up to do it and has a track record of doing it well. They don't charge much for the job either. Without looking it up as I'm posting, milling finishing and putting the right sights on is cheaper here than you will find elsewhere. Milling yourself is an option, but as you know the first time you do anything there is a greater possibility of a learning error than you might like. It's really a good deal to just pay to get it done right by a shop that does it all the time.

I hate to sound all fanboy-ish, but that was what I concluded when I was getting into the optic enhanced pistol.
