Question What are the quality mfg and sellers of AN-PVS 14 monoculars

Can someone give me a heads up as to the reputable brands and sellers of AN-PVS 14 monoculars?

I hear ATN is lower end, what about the other brand names? I have researched this and have no definitive answer but price... Under $3000 is taking a risk it seems, but over $4000 I don't believe is necessary for decent quality. This is to be used by this civilian that simply wants to protect his family.

    Thank you

    I bought mine from TNVC.

    It's an all milpers organization.

Top shelf. Very helpful & transparent.

Ask for a .28 SNR or higher.

If you are doing price comparisons, Optics Planet is a good place to look. My return experience with them only involves a scope sope years back and they were no problem. As I recall it was a situation that had me order one and I did not get into to mounting it for a couple of months when I found a problem.

I do not recall where I got my 14. I do not use it everyday, but have had zero problems in the 4-6 years that I have owned it. I keep mine on a modified hard hat on a shelf in my bedroom so I can use it quickly. It does get bounced around some, but certainly not combat use.

    Tnvc.
The L3 OMNI IIIV is a great tube.
I have the ab nighvision mod 3 bravo modular goggles.
You can take it apart and run it as a monocular, or even two monoculars.
It cannot be weapon mounted, however.

ITT Night Enforcer is top shelf.....the L3 has a good reputation....as does TNVC.

Also, PVS-14 (single tube) is preferable for tactical reasons. Let's you monitor ambient lighting w/ your non-NOD eye and it's not "blown" from being under goggle if you need to transition out of it.
