Outstanding ! Gabe is always on point. As a SI student, the narrative of the article speaks the truth that many here had 1st hand experience and I hope that many more will know after reading the article. I would have to add that for me, taking Payne's recent Red Dot class brought the message home loud and clear. But, I can't seem to fully agree with the author's statement "We think we're safe in saying that most Suarez International content is not for the beginner....." Just a thought, but choosing the right SI class is perfect for beginners such as CRG 1 and RGF1 serving as the perfect platform for beginners on both hardware and software skills, then one realizes it's much more than the coolest tactical item on the market. It becomes a lifestyle such as diet, fitness, mindset, etc.

The thing that brought me here was the forum's discussions on blades. I stayed for the guns and then the philosophies of violence. Oh, sure, the other stuff is all right, the what ifs and how many and mine is bigger than yours and whatever. But the pragmatic analysis of violent acts and innovative problem solving and the resulting TTPs ... those are gold. Well, for me, anyway.

I figure I got another good quality twenty years in this world -- barring any stupidity on my part -- and I am doing my best to get rid of the dead wood in my life, in both material things and bullshit ideas. It's articles like this that inspire and motivate me to look upward and forward.

    Thanks.

+1 on being surprised at being in an NRA publication. Not that you "needed" mass exposure, because as you know the "masses" have a "problem" with the truth, but this should cause a lot of people that would have never found (or accepted) Suarez International to be positively exposed to it. Hopefully there will be many more conversions to "our team" than there will be loud, old dog, unable to accept truth, 1911 fan-grampas!
