Note to self: beware of Brent wielding sharp things. Or blunt things. Or things. Or nothing at all.

Man, I'm going to have to get a red dot. Then I'm going to have to take a red dot class. Then I'm going to have to take a "Brent class." In that order.

Yes, I wanted to do that but it didn't make the cut.

    Brent,

I noticed that the angles at which you demonstrated your strikes correspond to the angles that we drill our Eskrima strikes in. I will definitely have to get this. Plus as mentioned above, it would be good to finish up with popping a cold one open :)

Did you grind the slot in the ring specifically so you could hook it to your pocket?

    Yes.

Not everyone wants it that way so it's not cut like that. But honestly for me that cut was a key feature. It is what allows you to deploy it quickly. Doesn't need to be opened like a knife, doesn't need an external clip. Not buried deep in the pocket, so it can be accessed easily. This thing is easy to draw even from grappling positions. And the speed is key.

Think of it as a fast draw set of knuckles.

Also the good thing about cutting yourself is that you can set the width so it works perfectly for you. I wear jeans, but if you wear a thinner or thicker fabric you might want more or less material removed.
