Absolutely wear one when instructing noobs. No idea what they will do.

Otherwise, judge your location and audience for if you need it or not.

I do every time. If it's with experienced shooters it's more likely working multi person movements with a higher degree of difficulty so I wear it regardless. I would hate to do the job 10 years then get smoked while teaching.

In the environment you are dealing with, I would recommend yes.

Thanks guys...I have indeed dusted off the Second Chance vest...replaced the carrier with new a while back...just ordered a new one to swap out. I gets a lil sweaty...and it is a reassuring feeling to know I gave it on...keeps me warm too...range ventilates with outside air...brrrrrrrr

If you have to wear the "Red or Yellow range instructor vest" anyway consider the Red Firearms Instructor out carrier. Has a lot of pockets etc for IFAK other medical gear. Important to have on you in that environment.

At the dept I do wear vest. Side gig, depends on class teaching.

If you have it, wear it.
