    Yes, UTM is changing training...While Sims was the cutting edge 10 years ago UTM is replacing it. You can't run a full day of training with Sims and not have to stop for malfuntions or have a lot of wasted ammo. UTM over 1000 rounds before cleaning guns. Most "scenarios" with Sim and Airsoft are problematic past 10 yards. We were pinging steel at 30 yards with pistols.

    So while Sim and Airsoft are the old days of FoF training...UTM is more cost effective (than Sims) and effective (both Airsoft/Sims) so yes, It is changing training.

    Coastal, very little clean up with UTM. Not paint all over like Sim. Sirt is great but it is funny how folks change their tactics when there is a motivator.

    Very true. Everybody has a badass knife disarm till the shock knives come out. And pain is an excellent motivator
