    I know and accept Glocks are the better tool, but there was a day when my 1006/4506 and 649 did just fine without plastic and 17 rounds.

    Brother, if I still had my 4506, I'd run it. Third Gen S&W's are a weakness of mine

    I was the last Deputy Sheriff to switch over from the 4506. One of the saddest days I can remember.

    Here's an old, blurry photo for you Mike. The norm use to be 4506s in duty holsters, 4516s as off duty, 442s as backups and shorty 12 gauge with buckshot. Sadly, American steel has gone the way of German plastic, but this is progress in many eyes.

    Had such a blast at recent Red Dot. Would love to do it again with one of my Sig's.
