Default Will any other optics fit a slide milled for an rmr?

After extensive googling, I've decided to simply ask the most knowledgeable group of people I've found. I have recently acquired a slide milled by SI for the trijicon rmr and I was wondering what other optics will fit that pattern or if there are adaptors made. Thank you for your patience.

So without sounding patronizing please...tell me why you want "other optics" or adaptors? What "other optics" are you looking at, and why?

Yes...RMRs and deltapoints are expensive...but most other optics are either unsuited to pistol slide use due to dimension and height (Vortex Razor, and Insights MRDS), or are total trash (Burris fastfires and the SIG Chinese-made Romeo, or the competition-only C-More).

Again, without patronization (yeah I just made up that word).

The answer is No. The physical outlines of the various optics mentioned (or contemplated) are not compatible.
Apparently the "cost outlines" aren't either.

Just buy an rmr and be done with it. You can get one on the OST website for $440 right now. If they run out of stock, and you look hard enough, you can find them for close to the same price elsewhere.

this comes up from time to time and it always gets the same response. We're not talking about $1000 here. $440...or, the cost of 2 grocery store trips. Just save up, get it, and be done with it instead of trying to rig it. What's the point of getting a Ferrari and retro-fitting it with a Camry engine?

I have a trijicon rmr02 already mounted, so...
I specifically wanted to know if the shield mini sight utilized the same mounting pattern as the rmr, as the shield comes with an available 1 moa dot with a 65 moa ring surrounding it. And that's something I'd like to try. I cannot find info on compatability anywhere, which is why I chose to ask here.

It won't... And life would be soooo much easier if it did (then we could put RMR's on G43s)

Came across this thread in a google search and thought it could use an update to mention the Holosun 507c

I have 2 and am running them on a G20 and G17. So far so good. Holding zero, battery life is LONG, auto on/off and brightness seems to be working right. Only issue is the design leads to impact fracture on the lens, BUT from all the testing I've seen, cracked or whole, it still holds up and keeps zero. I do like the reticle options, but those are gravy in my opinion. So far, just like the RMR [on my daily carry] I bring the pistol up, and the sight works, even with nice, hot, 10mm loads. Also considereing running one on a 12 gauge "firearm" for some additional torture testing.
Trijicon is still the gold standard, but if they could adapt some of the 507c features to their housing [replace the fiber optic with a solar panel to feed electronic guts for instance], they will maintain that gold standard for a much longer time.

Just my thoughts. Be interested in seeing how its held up to other's testing. Oh, and IIRC, they have a lifetime, no questions waruntee. Great if you break one in training, but if they break easy, not so great as a daily carry. YMMV
