Mine came in today. New favorite. The GU will probably remain my constant companion simply because of convenience but this above all the others feels the best in the hand. Slightly larger than the GnS but not inconveniently. The blade profile certainly lends itself to being more capable of everyday knife tasks but I'll continue to carry a pocket knife for those things and reserve this for fighting purposes. Here's a comparison photo for those who are curious.

And remember, short bursts. That way you’ll harvest more meat per bullet. -Gordo, Fury

Looks great ... and the price is right! Love the no frills handcrafted design. The sheath looks cool, too; utilitarian and functional. AUS8 is -- despite the steel fetishists' commiserations, -- an excellent material. My old San Mai Tanto has AUS8 at its core and it has been beaten and abused and still holds up. This piece should be a lifelong companion. Reminds me of an upgraded ESEE 3, which is a good thing.

Sorry I missed the first batch. Will order when they're back in stock.

The hammer finish makes the important point that this is a tool first, in a much better way than, for example, throwing a gun down in the gravel and stomping on it and shooting a customer.

Mine arrives a couple of weeks ago. You can't have it back.
