Well, it does say "Never mind the dog."

Just adopted a 4 yr old Dutch Shepard. Our old (mostly)GSD rescue is on his last legs, hips are about shot. 14 mo old GSD female is a wild child. We're hoping the Dutch male will help wear her out. (She's been spayed.) Pretty sure the Dutch will be dominate, although with the old boy still around it's a little nebulous.

Don't remember how to get pics from phone to WT.

Wednesday we woke up to find Leo had died in his sleep. The vet said he had an enlarged right atrium. This was really hard as we were not planning on a pup until spring 2022. It just worked out where we ended up getting a puppy in July. When Jesse died I would get up in the morning to walk Leo and as I walked him I would cry and Leo would lick me in the face.

The breeder has been great and said when we were ready they had a puppy for us either now or another litter. PXL_20211225_225214900.jpgPXL_20211225_225024753.jpgPXL_20220110_000940805.jpgPXL_20220112_035429661.jpg

    Martin, I am so sorry.

I pray that he is with his boy now.

So sorry for your loss. He looks like a tremendous dog. I picture him running now with some of mine that have gone before.

He was a good boy and was coming along well in his training.

I pick up the new pup tomorrow.

Here is the new puppy. We decided to name him Enzo. I already have him coming when he hears me make the noise and we're starting to work on forming the sit. He really likes hanging out with us lay down He's actually laying down at my feet right now. He'll also chill out and that you need on my lap.PXL_20220130_043940387.jpgPXL_20220129_182027998.jpgPXL_20220128_232012522.jpg
