I did have the same thought relative the hounds of the Baskervilles. I do not remember the Hobbit reference.

Well the ones in the Hobbit movies seem more dog like than wolf like. IIRC on my Tolkien world the Wargs were a descended from some sort of demonic wolf dog. I'm thinking maybe Tolkien knew of this legend his background and all. I just don't know if the movie animals were based on Tolkien's sketch's or someone in Peter Jackson's studio.

This is mine, his name is Griswold. It`s an old photo, he`s missing his front right leg since he ran in front of a Truck a while ago. It hasn`t slowed him down and I like to think of that leg as dead weight.

If if anybody is looking for their very own Hound of War I know somebody who unfortunately needs to find a home for Daisy. She's a 2yo female Great Dane. My and my wife have two Danes and they're great dogs. They do best with lots of interaction from their masters so they're happiest kept inside with their family. Ours aren't destructive or high energy. Just really big lap dogs! We may end up watching her until she has a home so I'll know more about her temperment. I'd hate to see her go to a shelter.

Glock 45: Are those pics of Daisy or your dogs? Even bigger than my GSD. He can't quite lay his chin on the counter. Hope you can find Daisy a good home. 2 dogs and a cat are about all we can handle.

Tara: Unusual but beautiful coloring on Taser! I'll try to get some pics up later.
I always have my primary weapon; it's right between my ears.
