    "Death on Four Paws" Java -- Don't be afraid, she can't hurt you -it's only a picture!! Humaine Society rescue. Dachshund/Chihuahua mix as best we can tell. During the "interview" with her and the society director, Java booth peed and pooped on the cat scratching post in the boss lady's office. She aced the interview; I knew then that she was the one for us!

    I have a half Chihuahua/Half Miniature Dachsund. Terrible personality, to be honest. He`s the perfect dog for an old lady; only tolerates one person in the room at a time, and is certainly a one dog house kind of dog, erm, rat.

    My huge puppy Max 65 lbs and 8 months old. I rescued him off the side of the road back in December on a 25 degree morning. He had been tossed in a shop-vac box with his litter mates. I could only rescue one the others I placed at a shelter.
    He will take on anything that wants to play but what ever his breeding is if it challenges him he doesn't back down.

    I try to treat everyone with respect but I simply have zero compassion or empathy for people who abandon perfectly good animals. Glad to hear you did what you could and got what seems like a great dog out of it. Treat that pup with care, I know I would.
