Two o'clock owb or iwb is what I've seen most often.

I carry mine at 11 o'clock IWB. My gun rides at the 1 o'clock IWB. I can reach either tool with either hand.

And that's what I meant. Evidently I've become dyslexic.

As an aside, when I worked UC or plainclothes detail, we had leather rectangular badge holders that we worn around our necks. They said "POLICE" across the top and held the shield below. Pre gang unit days I found that the sheath to the spyderco neck knife would fit perfectly across the back of the holder. Got me thinking about my gang unit now. ;)

I have seen a large variance in how far these knives go in to the sheaths. Mine sticks pretty far out. The one in the pic sits really deep compared to mine.

Keep in mind that Sam is a lefty.

I carry a fixed blade at 11:00. Depending on the attire, it is either a RAT-4 or a Gang Unit. Both are attached with a pull-the-dot belt loop. For the Gang Unit, I had to engineer (I use that term loosely) a Kydex tab that is JB welded onto the outside of the sheath.

Oooh, can you bring that gang unit sheath mod to the range? I'd prefer a loop as well.
