SIG all day long.. They've already worked through their pains and issues.

However they do have a model in 7.62x51....... Hmmm that could be sexy

    Always entertaining, mildly offensive
IANative: Indeed, when you grab Brent (or he grabs you), it feels like liquid unobtanium wrapped in rawhide... whereas Greg is just solid muscle wrapped in hate, seasoned w/ snuff and a little lead.

    "This is game?"

Channeling my inner Sonny P for that voice.

Let's see, busted out old tech vs. new tech.

They have a pistol version with a folding brace coming out.... might be pretty awesome. I haven't seen the P556xi with a folding brace in the real world yet.

I don't have many guns on the realistic "buy list" but that may seriously cause me to trade all my x39 guns out for a P556xi or two. 10-11" bbl ballistics in that round are still decent. New tech. Folder. "CCW legal" in my state. Yes, that may make me rearrange some stuff in the ol' armory.

    ETA: Oh and interchangeable uppers....

Kinda feel like the Galil is the "missing link" between the traditional AK and the Sig.

Prior to owning an OST purchased 556r, I would have been selling off my kids for one of these new Galils. I am now on the fence... Galil 7.62 x 51.... I am gonna get one!

I really miss my Valmet m76 .308 folders. If these are close to that, then I'll give the "Universal Rifle" concept another go. Bring on the 20rnd Vepr / Valmet / converted m14 Galil mags. I'd be happy to share in the fun given the chance. Stay tuned.

Back to the 7.62x39 option. Saw a ffl friend who is already getting requests for the ACE. Said he hasn't had any interest from customers in the Sig and is surprized but then again he has a lot if inventory hanging around... the polymer lower is a potential issue for me.

    Cheers!
