Default Basic easy trade craft 101 for the above average

    1. Have a portion of your money liquid and hidden in a good safe in your home.
    2. Form an LLC. Preferably a Delaware LLC. Put your autos, boats etc in the LLC's name.
    3. Find a good pirate attorney, have him set up trusts for your house and other tangibles.
    4. Get a PO box and use it for everything, get this in a neighboring town.

    5. You will not use social media, you will not post pictures of yourself or family on-line.
    6. Politics is for fools, stay away from it.
    7. Buy a laptop with cash, put whole disk crypto on it.
    8. Buy a couple of burn phones and keep them stashed, use these for dealing with anyone you don't want to talk to unless you initiate the contact. You can also use call forwarding from a burn phone to your real phone #
    9. Use email encryption
    10. Register a domain, set your own email up and never ever use a gmail or yahoo account for anything other than a one time contact, and never use those accounts forms any network that can be tied to you.

    11. Drive an obscure car (your plates if run will come back to the llc. Remember?)
    12. Your car can be luxurious and fast etc. without screaming look at me! The large number of Beemer and Benz on the road make it better for sedan owners, but a fully loaded Tahoe is a better trade craft choice than an escalade..

That is more or less a congruent boil down of the book "How To Be Invisible" by JJ Luna.

    Good info.

    Other things you could add:

    - get a passport for getting out of country and also for use as official ID without an SSN or address printed on it (it works most places in lieu of a drivers license)

    - don't put all your eggs in one basket: have a secondary safe house in another area or even another country.

    - it's harder for country A to freeze accounts/assets in Country B.

    - rent a cheap apartment or commercial office space and use that address as a physical address (not every place will accept a PO Box and some places like UPS stores are in "lists" these days).

    - convince ($$$) somebody to setup/manage services for you in their name since you're busy. Paying them in advance for a year plus a profit for their time helps. Make up a story to go with it (travel a lot for work, family overseas, etc.)

Another thought. Most "systems" have rules in place that work well for 99% of cases but must have "processes in place" for the 1% fringe exceptions. Exploit those 1%.

An example could be going to the DMV to inform them you need a new DL and lost your old one during your recent move. Pay the extra replacement fee and then there will be 2 "valid" in appearance DLs with different addresses on them.

    "You can't go home"

Ok this is not as far fetched as one would think. You don't have to be Jason Bourne to find yourself in a situation where you either need to get home/safehouse under threat OR you cannot go home. THink Zimmerman here for a situation any of us could find ourselves in. So what do you need?

#2 and 3. Know why you are setting up a trust. If it is asset protection/discouraging nuisance lawsuits, consider an irrevocable trust with a trigger to move assets out of U.S. jurisdiction when a crisis situation develops. Within this structure you can have your family limited partnership and your LLC's. At death, assets move to a revocable living trust.
