Life is Good

Our Christmas tree stands 8'4" tall this year and is now standing in it's place in our living room awaiting strings of lights, decorations and the magnificent angel that will adorn it's lofty precipice.
My Wife has blobs of dough that will become dinner rolls raising on the wood pellet stove, a pot of homemade soup is simmering in the kitchen and there's a fresh growler of Porter from my local microbrewery in the refrigerator that is calling my name.

It's hard to imagine that the next will be even better.

God is great. Through what he has painted on his canvas here in the physical universe, we see His infinity.

Thank you, Father. Thank you for love- precious love- for joy, for peace. Thank you for existence.

<GRIN> An 8'4" tree?! Apparently you don't have a brand new puppy in the house... I've got a tiny tree on our bar... our Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler cross pup would pull a large tree over in a heartbeat!!!!

But I'm right there with you on the idea that life is good and GOD IS GREAT!!!!

A thought for the Christmas season: pick up a new "one year" bible at Christmas this year (heck- give them as gifts!), and start your daily devotional on January 1... make it through the year and read it cover to cover... a GREAT way to get through the good book in a year.
