View Full Version : Long Live The King of American Muscle...C7 Renderings LEAKED!
Other than the tail lights...I'm in love. I can't wait to see what else it's going to offer.
Looks like the Rugged American C6 hooked up with a Hot Italian Ferrari and their kid came out sporting the physical attributes of both parents.

Did you hear about there motor plans... Smaller pistons with more travel, closer to what a ferrari motor does.. should be an amazing amazing motor in a vette...

Sounds good. Can't wait!
I really am excited about this car.

Oh and also was supposed to rev a lot higher... Like 5 digits + some... But we will all have to wait to see what hits the streets...
That motor both intrigues and worries me... That's a MAJOR redesign from what Chevy is used to... They better do their homework...

The backend looks like a Skyline. Overall - well done. I generally can't stand Government Motors but the Corvette has been their bright spot for a long time.
Too bad I"m committed to motorcycles.

A client was recently bemoaning Gov Motors & suggested that the best use for the Chevy Volt was air dropping them on the OWS crowd...we got along just fine.

I feel the same way. They need to get it right...people are already talking about the body design negatively- a poorly redesigned powerplant/drivetrain may sink the C7.
My other pet supercar is the Ford GT...but the pictures of it's upcoming redesign/rerelease look very strange to me. I don't know what to think.
It's very "different"...and to top that off, it's going to be produced as a "hybrid". Although it will probably grow on me more.
I'm sure that when I see the car in person I'll have more respect for it.
Right now, I prefer the aesthetics of the 2005-2006 model.

What the new corvette should be like instead of what that is.

Factory Five GTM using LS7 internals along with Porsche rolling gear. This guy liked the Corvette nose so he added it to his build.
This is what the car looks like in FFR standard trim.

Lest you think these things don't work. Here is one lapping quick times during the 25 hrs of Thunderhill race.

Thanks to M. Baskin putting together this great post that I stole all of these from. He is a great guy and Factory Five racing is amazing when it comes to cars. They also do these:

I was at the Turkey Rod run in Daytona this weekend and had the privilege to sit in a Bugatti Veyron.

But the show was made for me by a bad a$$ bullet nose Studebaker.

I have to admit, since Corvettes got out of the price of the average working man I have lost touch with them, but these renderings are pretty cool. I am quite sure they handle and stop better than the last Corvette I owned, a 1962 model in the early 1990's. It sure looked and sounded right though.

I would prefer they stay with the 427 V8. True American muscle needs lots of low end torque. Quit trying to be a 'me too' Euro-wannabe.

Real flashy cars now what sort of guns will you have that are as flashy as those cars?
Perhaps the pasted foto is not a good shot of a flashy car and gun.

Think ost will polish a glock side to mirror finish? That would go well... Rmr mirror polished as well... Would look ghetto-tastic...

Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races brother.
