A company is taking parts from AK's that were destroyed in the congo and is now making jewelry out of them.

This is the website for them. http://www.fonderie47.com/

Looks to be a bunch of libtards behind it but its intersting non the less. Besides there's still plenty of AK's out there lol.

Yeah, because the problem with Africa is it has too many guns. Yeah, that's it! Too many ak47s!

If the jewelry wasn't so expensive, I'd buy something and tell the guy I love the AK-47 and can now wear it around when I'm not actually carrying it. :biglaugh:

Wow, what a scam. It takes $35,000 to "fund the removal of a hundred assault rifles?" They do know you can just take out the bolt carriers, dump em and the guns are useless, right?

Heaven forbid the ordinary people of Africa have any means of fighting against dictators, who I'll bet are getting 98% of the money. I'll also bet the gold is coming from exploited labor working under armed guards.

I'd rather wear the 8mm Lebel necklace that I made. The bullet came from my great-grandad's collection of gun stuff.
Never met him, but it feels like I've got him with me when I wear it. People who did know him say we're so much alike that it's scary.

Heck, give me $35,000 and I''ll fund the removal of a bunch of AK's mags and ammo out of a few gun shops as well as from TSD and into my home.:finger:

Maybe they have to hire mercenaries to shoot a hundred rebels to get the Aks......

Also the jewelry would only be attractive to me if it still looked like an AK part. Remember the old silver rings made out of spoon handles? A front sight leaf or a part of a gas tube might look cool as a ring if you could still retain something that was recongnizeable as an AK part....but I am pro AK not anti-AK..

I smell the sweet aroma of opportunity.

Thanks. I still think he watches over the two of us who are left of this family out here.

I hear that he had some awesome stuff- collecting guns was his life. Most of his collection got stolen before I was even born.
