Rolex is that fucking desperate...? They must be hurting.
He seems to have a hard time with exclusivity. I imagine that he'll try to sign with Breguet before very long.
That or get kicked to death while trying to mate with a haggard old light-colored wild horse. One or the other.

 This is as almost as weird as a Kenyan being elected Prez'dent.

He was with Rolex before under the Tudor brand. He left them for Tag Heuer. Now he is back. Too bad his game is not back to when he was with Tudor.

Woods has dropped out of the top fifty in rankings. I find myself wondering what the calculation was in the Rolex offices. He's cheaper to lock in now, and could rise back to the top? That seems the most logical idea.
Interesting.

Who cares. Rolex is into making money, and Woods is a figure that will get them looked at. Like him or hate him....he will get people to look at Rolex just like DiCaprio gets people looking at TAG. To not buy a Rolex because of Tiger Woods boggles the ridiculous. Let me put it this way, ifr I thought that I would make ten million dollars by publishing an ad of Woods shooting a TSD Glock, do you think I would refrain from that because someone might not like him?

no one likes me and I'll shoot one for free boss

Cash is king.
Let's just say that if someone offered me 10 million to play the lead role of the next Shaft movie...I'd be looking up the numbers to tanning salons while I was still on the phone with them.

You gotta at least admire the guy's resiliency. I'd never let his private behavior dissuade me from buying a product that I like, but is it really so damned hard to find a celebrity to promote your product that is at least a little better role model for your kids?

I hope you would refrain given the moral values you are trying to promote.

Professional golfers have long been a staple of Rolex's advertising strategy.
In the world of golf, Tiger doesn't just move the needle, he is the needle. Even as the 51st ranked golfer in the world. (I don't see that lasting long)
Whatever they are paying Tiger, they have gotten a ton of exposure from this during a time of the year that the PGA Tour is traditionally winding down.

Kids should look to their families for heros, or someone that does something significant like a Medal of Honor winner or cures a disease. A role model that hits a ball with a stick is something I never understood.
