Besides the utilitarian plastic pistols, who has a few handguns and long guns that get looked at and fondled more than shot? Besides my Glocks and XDs, I've got some customs from Reeder, Bowen, Clements, Gallagher, and Yost as far as handguns go. I've also got some custom rifles and shotguns that don't get hunted with much. Anyone else have a few froo-froo firearms?

Got rid of the impractical, shiny, pretty things years ago. Sorry, only practical stuff that works in my house. Actually, Im now allergic to pretty...I only go with dull, black and ugly now.

I have an engraved Remington-Rand 1911 with ivory grips that I rebuilt, as well as an engraved, silver-plated SAA with ivory. They both get carried occasionally, and either one would do to get my butt out of a crack. I also have a couple other custom pistols and revolvers, but they were customized for function, not froo-froo.

The only "pretty" gun I have is my wife's stainless Colt Mustang. Everything else (long or short) looks almost like salvage from an African civil war - but they all work perfectly and shoot better than I'm capable of. They're tools, and I just don't have the funds for show-pieces. Not that I would mind - funds &/OR show-piece - but it's what I have.
Stay safe,
Chuck Brick.

My only BBQ guns are the Colt Python and Diamond Back my dad left to me in his will.

Until my new one gets back from the gunsmith, this is also my SSR in IDPA.

Nickel plated Smith and Wesson 36...not too fancy. It is on my list to get an engraved something. It seems so vulgar to carry a Glock to the club, don't you know.

I have 2 clover leaf receiver Winchester mod 70 in 30-06. The actions are what Winchester made the name on with the 70, they both shoot under an inch at 100 yards, and may be the most graceful looking rifles Winchester ever produced. And the bluing is art on steel, only surpassed by Colt Royal Blue that came on the old Pythons.
I dont take them out much, too many know what they are and want them. Id hate to be offered enough to sell them, and live with the guilt after.
