Sometimes, it is the little things. I have to admit I have a signature soap. It is an old Bay Rum, but since Gabe does not sell it I am not going to say more than that. (I wish he did sell it, so I could use it every day and not just on date nights, but that is a different story) What do my W/T brothers lean towards?

Hmm. Well I don't know anything about soap that makes a man stink good (so tell us more), but working outside in the desert requires me to man up and use a honey/glycerin bar on my horse face, as well as quality SPF sauce. Otherwise I resemble beef jerky in short order.

I've made my own soap for years. There are plenty of good books on the subject, and I'm still working on my Hoppes # 9 Fragrance bar..

I really like Meyer's soap. They make all kinds of soap and I love the smell! Good stuff!

Ok, this may sound odd, but one of my favorite smells in the world is dirt.

Yes, dirt. Nice, fresh, clean, earthy dirt. Love it. I rub it in my hands and hold it up to my face to get a good whiff. So, I've always wanted soap that smells like clean dirt. Too much to ask?

Sounds like all you need to do is camp in the AZ forest up here in high country! LOL You would be in heaven!

Ok, i use a brand called "kirks castle" why it has that name, i don't know.
No funny sissy smell; just real soap.

Now when I'm still hunting deer with my bow....

I QUIETLY SLIP OVER, AND STEP IN EVERY FRESH COW PIE I SEE...

The whitetails in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana smell cow manure everyday -
why use anything else!!!

Vermont Soap Organics, Aloe Castile liquid soap UNSCENTED. Why....because it allows me to get real close to creatures I intend to kill. It aids me in remaining undetected by creatures who intend to kill me....if I find myself a member of a party that is being tracked by K9....I am not the primary scent that the sniffers are locked on to:wink:.

Apply the same thought to your laundry detergent, air freshners in vehicles, personal hygeine items, etc.

Borax and baking soda instead of detergent gets your clothes clean and leaves them smelling like.....nothing.

Plain old style Ivory Pure Soap.

Closest thing to lye soap that still can be had in most stores.

I actually just bought some handmade soap made from goat's milk from a local.
Three different kinds.

One is Frankincense and Myrrh, for when I'm feeling wise.
Two is sandalwood, nice and clean.
Three is cedar, bergamot, and other woodsy smells. My favorite.

Weird yes...but one of my duties as a boyfriend is to keep the girlfriend happy. Before her, I was lathering up with Lava to shave with. If she is happy when I use fancy soap, then I am damn sure going to buy fancy soap even if I feel silly doing it.
