Any of you thrill-seekers and daredevils out there ever participated in this activity?
As I mentioned in response to a thread on the Open Source Roundtable, I did so back when I was stationed at Minot AFB, ND from 2001, thanks to a couple of friends from the base who were certified Skywarn storm-chasers. One time, I had the thrill of riding with them into the middle of a 70 mp/h microburst; it buffeted our car and spun us around like a breakdancer, but the vehicle and the occupants emerged safe and sound. :scared1:
We ended up being the first to call in this particular tornado to the National Weather Service.
