Every job has it's goods and bads; and although mine often finds me in some very undesirable locations and unpleasant situations. This past week has been the polar opposite. It has been difficult to call this "work".

Everyday has started with an early morning a 2-4 mile run on the beach with just me and the waves, followed by a 30 minute swim in the 85 degree clear blue surf.

Dinners have been grilled fresh catch washed down with a few fingers of Gentleman Jack.

Yesterday consisted of a couple of meetings in the morning, and then an hour SCUBA dive.

As if all that weren't already enough, my lovely wife arrived just before dinner to spend the weekend. (walks on the beach and all that good stuff )

Ah yes the lord does indeed bless us with some fine gifts. And we should show our thanks by enjoying them and making the most of them.

Cheers

Glad you're are able to get the occasional assignment in a tough location (I could get used to assignments in tough locations like your recent one). Enjoy, it's a hard job that someone has to do...

 Hate to see a fellow man have to live in such harsh conditions. You must endeavor to persevere.

Indeed I have Sal.....and thanks for lunch the other day bro, it was very nice to sit and visit while enjoying our "strategically" selected over-watch position.

Cheers

T, I was all ready to tell you what a slimeball you are, until I got to the part about your wife joining you. Now, you are good. Your wife puts up with a lot (as does mine), and sharing some of the occasional good stuff with her is excellent.

Here! Here!

No brother you would have be accurate with "slimeball" I hear it from my wife herself all too often when I get to do "cool" stuff. Well I better go pay attention to her before she hurts me.
