Didn't see a thread like this, so I thought I would start one. Here is a picture of a small one I built to pull behind my 3 wheeler:

The box itself is about 29" wide, 4 feet long, and 18" high. It's sized to fit across the foot bridge near my cabin with about an inch and a half to spare, and the tailgate drops. If I had it to do again, I'd probably just make the tailgate removable. Because of the tie down points, I've had no trouble carrying full sized lumber on it. It's got 22" tires currently, but later on I may decide to go to 25s if I get a bigger ATV.

Did you see the new issue of 4 Wheel Drive (used to be 4Wheel drive and Sport Ute.) a guy built a nice off road camping trailer out of an old U Haul box trailer.

I have a Jumping Jack tent trailer which I have pulled behind my Jeep Wrangler as well as my Dodge 4x4. The trailer will go anywhere the vehicle will. I purchased it because I can carry my two ATV's (4 wheelers) on top. Sometimes I just pile more camping gear on it when behind the Wrangler. It goes up fast as well.
