This winter, we are teaming up with former Navy Seal and survival expert Madison Parker in the sub-tropics of Florida. From 1969 to 1981, Madison was enlisted in the US Navy, Special Warfare Group One, Seal Team One. He also received basic Jungle environmental Survival training (JEST); UDT/Combat Swimmer training; Army ranger training in Winter Warfare/Survival; Jungle Survival - Panama Canal; and training in SERE School. In addition, Madison is a one of the true masters of primitive hunting and his expertise with a slingshot is legendary.

In this three day course, we will cover the basics of sheltercraft, primitive firemaking, traps & snares, tracking, edible plants, slingshots and primitive weapons, weaving with plant fibers, and more. The course will be held in an outfitted basecamp and participants can bring any gear (sleeping bag, tent, etc...) that they need to be comfortable. Participants need to provide their own meals. Runs from 8 a.m. on Friday to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Those flying in should plan to fly into the airport Tallahassee or Panama City, Florida.

Directions, gear list, and health form will be sent upon registration.
