View Full Version : RMR on CZ's

I am a new forum member who first wishes to say thanks for the huge amount of info here. I am a retired LEO who has shot PPC, Pins, Combat, etc, but my eyes are now too old for iron sights, and it is apparent that the RMR is the answer.

I want to mount an RMR on my CZ85C and perhaps later also on a CZ75B. I understand it will be higher than optimum, but for my purposes that matters little. So far, it appears that my best option is a custom installation of a short Picatinny rail on the slide just forward of the rear sight, and use of a Trijicon Picatinny mount. Does anyone have information and/or opinions on this setup?
Are there any known shops with experience in this matter? Any info and/or opinions appreciated.

So far as I can tell at this point, there WAS a dovetail mount by Jpoint for
their sight, but that has been discontinued by the factory.

I am interested in pursuing the idea of a dovetail mount.
How do we do that? I am new here, so dont know procedure.

I completely changed platforms to the Glock from 1911's just to use the RMR. I'm not sorry I did.
