Looking for writers with experience in LE, investigations, courts and corrections.

I've been a contracted writer for textbook companies for years. It makes me $10K+ a year part time and while it is not easy it is not back breakingly hard either, but they have more work than I can do. I write LE, Security, Homeland Security and Allied Health topics myself.

If you feel you can write for a college freshman/sophomore audience about these topics PM me and tell me what you think you know best. I will give you a short writing assignment based on that and if it is acceptable I'll pass your info off to my employer.

I have a great rep built over years for being on time and in spec, so if you embarrass me I'll hunt you down and kneecap you in the head. Well, OK, not really, but always be ready to be up front if your initial estimate turns out to be overly optimistic, and don't let that happen often. I'll help you navigate that issue if you aren't experienced.

Maybe in a few more years when the Statute of Limitations expires.;)

I'm not sure exactly what it is you'd do but it does sound painful.:p

I write for a living but it's techie stuff. I'd be interested in learning more before I say yes.

I was really surprised by the number of responses I got from this! Having just come out of my 3 day rotation at the hospital and read all the PM's that accumulated I realize I just can't get back to everyone individually like I had been in a realistic time frame.

I do have a couple guys signed on now, and if the work accelerates as expected in the coming months I'll get back to those whose experiences mesh best with the needs of the time. I'll be holding onto the pm's for later, so if you feel you can better describe yourself go ahead and send another one.

Thanks all!

Karl, I sent you a PM and an email with a writing sample.

Thanks for your time.
