Hi Folks,

Does anyone have experience shooting and carrying the SIG P-239 in either or both 9mm or .40 SW?

Is so, what has been your experience with this gun and what is your evaluation?

Do you like it? If so, in which caliber?

Do you carry it for CCW?

I once owned a Sig 239 in 9mm. It was very accurate and 100% reliable. I'd guess that a 40 might have too much recoil. Personally, I'd go with a 9mm 239 and load it with 115gr +P+ JHP's.

Bear in mind that the 239 comes in two different trigger variations = short & long trigger. Some like one, some the other. I like the long trigger best, and my hands are size medium.
