Tagged for interest. Hopefully it's not just Microsoft stuff considering my skillset.

Dang...If it wasn't for the MSCE stuff, I'd jump. I believe doing is more important than papers saying you know how to....

Give it a shot. It may be a check box that isn't as important as the Oracle stuff.

Weird mix of quals. They're really hoping for an all-in-one solution here. I know a lot of MCSEs that would struggle with writing a SQL query, gifted SQL admins that would have a hard time administering Active Directory, and Oracle guys that would insist it's better to work on a Unix box, and who wouldn't want to touch SQL with a ten-foot pole ... let alone lift 50 lbs.!

I'm curious about this... My security clearance hasn't been active for 14 years.
Does anyone know, is it relatively easy to have an older clearance reinstated or would the process just basically start from scratch like I never had a clearance in the past?

You are out of scope. You would start over. The waits are not nearly as long as they were in the old days.
FWIW, I had contract IT guys across the hall from me in A'stan. It seemed like a good gig.
