Title: Field Advisor/Security Specialist.
If that link doesn't work, go to Fed Biz Ops and search for Solicitation INL-09-066-PSC. This is a 1-year period of performance.
Short closing date (14 Oct), but I have rcvd forwarded traffic that they need to fill this ASAP.
"NAS- Lima Peru is looking to fill an open slot for a Field Advisor/Security Specialist. This position requires someone who is very fluent in Spanish, can operate independently within DOS-INL guidelines, and possesses very strong field-craft skills. This is a great opportunity for someone from the Special Forces community (7th Group); I speak from firsthand knowledge. The solicitation is listed on FBO under INL-09-066-PSC."
Pull up the listing; the above doesn't do it justice. In a nutshell, it sounds ideal for a mobile Spanish-fluent SOF-community heavily-skilled team-leader who wants to operate rather independently in the bush running the full spectrum of what SF community embodies; both operationally and training US & indigenous counterparts.
Questions not answered here; just passing along a lead that came my way - follow the solicitation. Judging by the need expressed I saw, if not filled it's likely to be re-advertised quickly.
