Recently got my Form 1 back from the Lords of ATF.

Vector semi-auto that I've had for about 18 months. I wanted to be sure I was going to keep it before plunking down the $200 for a stamp.

Had a local machinist turn down a subgun barrel to fit the semi-auto trunnion. He did a perfect job, it now has slight hand pressure interference. Handling is much improved by the shorter barrel. It's like a new weapon.

Zeroed it at 100 yards and got about 6MOA groups. I'm going to check zero again as I wasn't happy with range conditions that day.

About 200 rounds thru the new barrel now with no problem. BSW

At a local match.

I would cut that barrel even shorter.

Cut the barrel so it sits flush with the barrel retention nut and then you have a real compact gun that I think is even faster into action than the mini or micro.

Needs a suppressor now. :)

My own form 1 is about two months out. I will be doing the xact thing, but my barrel will be a tad shorter. Nice SBR that is the epitome of the Pistol Caliber Carbine series (that is until some AK-smith decides to do a 9mm Suchka)

I've got 3 subgun barrels that are turned down to fit. I may chop one down flush with the barrel nut, but then again it's a damn sight easier to make them shorter. Longer is another problem. I may thread one for a flash hider I've got laying around. I figured that the standard 10.2” was a good place to start. I did have the machinist touch up the crown on the barrels. They had some dings on the muzzle from storage.

I'd like to get one of the surplus German suppressors that attaches with the barrel nut. Problem is I can't swing the $650 right now. We'll see what the future holds.

My Form 1 took right at 5 months to return from the time it was mailed in.

Brian, could you measure the length of pull sometimes and let me/us know? It looks great and I want to add one to my trust in the future.

Measured from the back of the pistol grip at the grip safety indent to the top of the buttplate. Came up right at 13” BSW
