My first pt session today :

200 burpees in 30 Min's .


I should note that taking extended time off from pt isn't a very good idea !:rolleyes: :dope:

I'm sure that Dino / ashley will give me corrective training .

Today was my first day back as well. I was in bed from the 26th until today. It took me close to 2 hours to run 5 miles and do 100 man makers with 45lbs db's. It also took me a 1/2 bottle of buckleys to suppress the coughing.

Kettlebell triple sets of: cleans (KB70), snatches (KB70), clean and presses (KB70), 2-handed swings (KB88), get-up sit-ups (KB62), front squats (KB70), 1-handed swings (KB70), cleans (KB88), core busters (KB88), push presses (KB2x70).

10 triplets, 30 total sets.

That's some impressive weight you're throwing around there, brother. Good job!

I just missed snatching the 88 lb. kettlebell a little while ago. Got it 3/4s of the way but could not get it the rest of the way. So close.....

I was kind of proud of Nena's performance today. She knocked off 4:37 from the last time she did this workout. I called this one "Nena's Nightmare":

25, 18, 12, 7 COUNTDOWN (10)
Burpees
Dumbbell thrusters (DB2x15)
Two-handed kettlebell swings (KB35)
Med ball crunches (MB10)
Med ball Saxon side bends (MB10)
Clubbell “Iron Crosses” (CB2x5)
Med ball Russian twists (MB10)
Arch rocks
Med ball chest passes (MB10)
Med ball knee crunches (MB10)

Total time: 33:02

Splits: @25- 12:04; @18- 21:50; @12 - 29:00

3 mile run followed by

5 X5

Jump shrugs
two arm power cleans
alternating one arm swings
two arm push presses
renegade rows

I had trouble balancing on the rows. They revealed weakness in my core.

Had to modify as the gym was closing early and we got there late:

5x5 Power Clean/Push Press: 175 lbs.

100 knees to elbows
50 pull-ups (some KEP's)

I almost got it up yesterday , but at least got the 32k up . :(


My pt session for today consists of :

Tabata squats ( don't ask , they suck !) in 5 min excercises . Each excercise is performed for 20 sec's on , 10 sec's off for 5 min's, then the next excercise is started.

Barbell Thruster 65lbs 33 reps in 5'min's

Front Squat 51 reps with 65lbs in 5 min's

KB Two arm swing 28K 42 reps in 5 min's


Total time 15 minutes .

P.S. I'm not sure what's worse , Dino's short workouts of death or the never ending workouts ..... of death. :D

January 1st:
Active rest and romantic walk day: Me with 40 lb. weight vest. Her with 15 lbs. 3.0 mile walk. Did 20 supersets of pushups (5)/squats (10) along the way. Like I said. Nice, easy active rest day. Good quality time.
