Hey fellow Glock fans,

I currently own and carry a Glock 22 (thinking about a 23 as a BUG and one that fits the wife's hand a little better, ya know, a two-fer) in a Fobus holster, strong side carry. I'm looking for more viable carry options as even at 6'3" and 230 I'm having a hard time with decent concealment. Keep in mind that I'm a jeans and T-shirt guy, so I don't have the benefit of a suit jacket. Any workable ideas?

I take it the Fobus is an Inside the Waist Band (IWB) model?

While the full sized Glock is harder to carry than the mid-sized models, its not beyond reason. A lot of people do it. Start with a good belt. Most people overlook this requirement but it is the foundation of your carry system. Then get a decent holster. A good holster has to fit the gun and your body. I like leather IWB holsters at the 4 o'clock position. What works for me may not work for you.

I'm 6'4" 220 and find that 4 o'clock and appendix work best for me. I generally wear jeans and t's as well, and havent had much of a problem using an IWB by Brommeland--Max Con V. When I carry appendix I don't use a holster because I don't have my Garrity Changeling yet--this is bad because I don't chamber a round in my G-19 for safety's sake. When it arrives I'll do a pictorial review.

I'm 6'1", 205lbs. I carry my Glcok 30 in a Comp-tac shirt tucker at the 4 o'clock position. I've also carried my 1911 double stack in the same position with a CTAC.

I use a wilderness ring belt with the polymer insert to stiffen it up a bit. Doesn't look out of place over jeans.

The only time I print is when I bend at the waist, once you train yourself to bend at the knees, the gun is invisible.

I use a desantis scorpion iwb for my 19 (same size as a 23) with shorts and a regular fit t shirt not extra baggy not tight the holster conceals well the cant at 3:00 hides the butt well. the holster has an open bottom so you can use it for your 22 as well. btw I'm 6'3 and 230 too. just traded a xdsc for another 19 because it hid just as well as the smaller gun the scorpion is kydex and you have to put it inyour waistband and then thread the belt thru the clips (not agood quick off and on but if that doesn't bothr you). good luck w/ your search!

Thanks, guys, for the advice. Being a neophyte convert I don't have much patience for wasting time. A lot of ground to make up, you know.
