If this Sub, is about living well, can we discuss how Federally legalized Hemp has impacted us well as Lawful Gun Owners? With medical applications in State Legal Medical/Rec being unavailable, for what is now defined as "Marijuana" to us, we have quite the useful arsenal available now. I used to use Tobacco daily, drink more than was probably healthy, and was taking prescription Insomnia Medications. I have woken up well rested, more than halved my weekly alcohol consumption, and havent touched tobacco since Thanksgiving when I smoked a Briar with my uncle. I fully believe this to be the Kaneh-Bosm in the Old Testament. I mostly use Hemp in dry vaping form that actually works as a vape (unlike the Aerosol Ecigs) or in fatty foods or MCT Oil tinctures with the Isolates and Distillates that are quite affordable to make your own with. The 9th Circuit just removed all doubt of Delta8THC's Federal Legality, and I must say it is a God Send for Alcohol Reduction. It is not as mentally impairing as Delta9 that is regulated now, but provides the same medical benefits, with the added benefit of people being able to take higher doses for medical use if needed, I have a few friends that had medical cards here for serious reasons that stopped buying at the State Dispensaries, as this works better in higher doses for them with less side effects. I always wake up feeling great for work after using any Hemp product. Just keep in mind if your job drug tests, Delta8, Full Spectrum CBD, can build up to detectable levels until the cheap testing labs adapt. That is the only downside I have seen to be honest.

Like anything, you will get the Prohibitionists up in arms about the evils of anything they don't like, accept, or understand. They also hate bikinis and fast cars. I for one am glad marijuana is losing its illegal status. I wonder if a study was done historically speaking, how much Phillip Morris and their industry had a hand in stigmatizing the "evil weed"?
I have been using THC edibles at bedtime now for a couple of months and have slept great for the first time in years.

What Ratio of Cannabinoids are you using for sleep? I am personally blending right now mix of CBN 12.5% CBNO 12.5%, CBD 5%, H4CBD 10%, HHCO 10%, D8THC/D8THCO, 30% THCPO 10% HHCPO10%. No terpenes, dissolved in MCT/Hemp Seed Oil/Olive Oil in varying ratios for edible or tincture use, or dab vaping with a temp controlled device or quartz nectar collector and torch for rare inhalation use. I love this blend, and the fact that its all 100% Fed Legal and can be delivered legally with US Postal Service Inspectors help if it gets stolen en route? Nothing beats this. I am not going to be happy if this is ever stepped on by politicians. It likely will be, most of the push back is from Crony Capitalists is Legal Recreational Marijuana States, from Big Marijuana to shut down the Federally Legal "Alt-Cannabinoid" Market/Movement in the Hemp Industry. These HHC products are amazing, they are Hydrogenated THC, and as an Isomer are expressly Fed Legal, they also do not create the Metabolites in the Fat Cells that lead to failed Drug Tests. D8THC while Fed Legal unlike D9THC can have people failing for some time, as can Full Spectrum CBD Hemp Extracts or Flower. CBG Flower can be had safe for drug tests for smokers/flower vapers/eaters, that is the only drug test safe Hemp Flower, All CBD Flower will make people test hot, CBD cannot be made without THC alongside it. I do not wish to smoke Delta9 marijuana, but I really wish my State would legalize it all already, so I don't have to leave the Hemp flower at home when going out, as I do not trust all cops ability know what Hemp is, or even be able to read my Lab Reports showing all products below the 0.3% D9THC Limit Level.

One of the things that I recently read was a study that discussed THC lowering free testostorone. It bears more study as poor sleep does the same.
I have been using Kiva Chocolate. Not sure the contentvas I am away from HQ and didnt bring any

The county that I work for is still in many ways clinging to the past. They are proud of our local distillery that belongs to a family that's been making "shine" since the good old days but if any of us tests positive for delta anything devil's lettuce we're fired immediately without recourse.

THC is an alternative to opioid pain management. I can't see the moral high ground of not regulating THC as such.

Those of us with CDL’s can’t risk taking anything that might pop positive in a drug test. There’s no distinction between legal CBD’s and marijuana. As long as it has some THC content and can build up in your system you run the risk of popping positive in a random test and then having to go through a drug counseling program prior to returning to duty as well as random tests after returning. And that is if your employer will retain your services. Doesn’t matter if your self employed, you’ll still have to go through all the bullshit plus having your name in a database that will follow you. Could be a non issue or it could be depending on a number of scenarios that may or may not play out. At a minimum a positive random will cost you several hundred in “classes” plus several weeks of not driving which equals lost wages. And in the end your career relies on the program administrator signing off that you can return to work and your rehabilitated. It’s definitively an area that needs to be reevaluated.
I avoid all of it. Won't even have a poppy seed bagel.

Hormones are hard to understand and get right, and marijuana is complicated because smoking is one thing, edibles are another, and taking straight up THC is different somewhat different than either.

What he seems to say is that Cannabis--maybe not straight THC, but other forms of "pot" increases aromatase to some degree, and aromatase will convert testosterone to estrogen. Which if you're doing other things to support Testosterone production and levels isn't *bad*, it's just what happens. It is important for your health to have *some* estrogen--in fact it's part of what drives libido in men--but having too much is, well "too much" give that away, right?
Anyway, it's *probably* dose dependent. If you're Snoop Doggin' it you might have some problems. If you're taking a 10mg dose of THC to get a better nights sleep then it probably triggers on a small production. If your free T goes down from 14.5 to 14.0, is that a drop that means something in the real world?
The problem is that we're still in the early days of understand THC and the rest of what is in marijuana.
BTW, alcohol also lowers testosterone and hops makes it worse, so those IPA drinkers probably are whiny ass bitches.

Not the response I was expecting here…I switched jobs after 21 years from a company that hair follicle tested to one that doesn’t test at all. I live in a state that has marijuana in vote to legalize but that hasn’t happened. I have jumped into Delta 8 and really have enjoyed it so far- to the point I wouldn’t need an edible if/when legal.
