On the heels of my Paloma thread, here's a great summertime drink- Ranch Water

In a 12 oz tumbler filled w/ ice, combine 1.5 oz blanco tequila of your choice, 1/2 oz lime juice (can use Rose's or fresh squeezed, depending on taste) and fill to top w/ Topo Chico or similar sparkling mineral water.

For you Costco members out there, their Kirkland brand Silver Tequila and Kirkland Italian Sparkling Mineral Water are great ingredients for this cocktail. Enjoy!

There's actually a metric shit ton (real scientific measurement) of ranch water seltzers out there. 99% of them are actual shit- too sweet, and that malt liquor/beer aftertaste that makes you want to rinse your mouth out w/ kerosene. The only one I've tried that I actually like is Lone River Ranch Water. I think they may have been the first to bring the canned product to market. Light, refreshing, not sweet and no clinging aftertaste. It's the one you'll see advertised in commercials during Yellowstone. It's only downside is it's price, like all of that popular seltzer shit. That makes my recipe above a preferred alternative- you can make them yourself cheaper, and you get the flavor of actual tequila in the process.
