This is my new Honda CRF 300L Rally. It’s a dual sport/adventure bike. It’s my daily rider as long as weather permits. The Rally is a hell of an upgrade from my TW200. I’m getting 60 MPG and it comfortably runs at highway speeds.

That’s sweet. I had a 250 2 stoke until I hit a tree and fucked my neck up.... But the dual sport would be awesome..... I would trail ride the shit out of that thing...

That's nice! Not too big for off-road, but big enough to get you there. Any mods planned yet?

Great pick ! Run tubliss and be able to plug the tires with patching a tube. Or if you aren’t doing lots of highway miles, nitro mousse and you will never have a flat again.
Ran the nitro mousse on my wr250 without issue .
Also watch the latest season of “itchy boots” on you tube . She’s going SA to Alaska and having a great time ( so far) though a female traveling alone is a general security fail.

I like it! Kinda sorta reminds me of my Ranger KLX-250, with IR headlight, rocket launchers, etc....

Nice!
I'll need to look into those when we get into the mountains this summer. Something to play on.

I’ll ride it as is for at least a year. I bought a rear rack and I’ll be getting bags soon. The only things I’ll be changing are the bark busters and the mirrors. Doubt I’ll mess with the exhaust.

That's a good plan, I would do likewise if mine.

Hey Jon, I think of got a set of Tusk soft panniers in the garage from another project. Let me dig around, if they are there I will send them to you.
I tend to hold onto stuff like that when I sell bikes for this very reason.
On Yonderings post, that’s a slick setup and likely less expensive using Amazon type mirrors, I use the doubletake mirrors on pretty much all my adventure bikes.
Lastly, if you decide to nitro mousse, slavens racing will help you spec the mousse to the specific tire, I went a bit oversized on the wr to give a higher tire pressure feel to the bike. You WILL get your workout putting them on with spoons though. I eventually just got a Rabaconda tire changer. I went in with a couple of buddies that I ride with. Total game changer if your going to change about 10 tires a year. Pricey, but turns a 45 minute cluster into 5 minutes work and 40 minutes beer and bullshitting.
Update, had a quick look in the garage. Found the Tusk and a set of older wolfmans.

Some I talked to here say it's like a smaller Africa Twin, and they love it. I have an XR650L, but if I were to get another, I'd be seriously looking at the CRF 300L.
