Research indicates it is linked to weight gain and diabete and new research indicates it causes genetic changes in the brain and may be linked to Alzeihmers, etc. I'd have never guessed it is the world's second most popular consumable oil. Better start reading those labels more closely.

I’m pretty sure all oil gives you cancer. Consuming it other then cooking with it, I leave for my cars....

Soy oil?? Not for me.

You realize that cooking with is one of the ways people consume it, right?

You might want to look at the ingredients of any packaged, prepared foods too. It may be a "hidden ingredient".

Don't forget soy oil's structure is awfully close to estrogen that some claim it's viable for hormone replacement...

Yeah, this. I have read this about soy multiple times in the past. I avoid anything and everything with soy.

I prefer Hemp Seed Oil. Healthier and more nutritious over Soy. Toasted Hemp seeds are also great to stock up on, they are one of natures most abundant sources of protein with a high bio-availability. Ground hemp seed is great in chili, sausage to add more flavor and nutrients.
