I have a couple of Luminox watches... the Coronado model being my "EDC," if you will... along with several other nice watches. But this thing made me yearn a little:

Ok that's pretty cool. Didn't make me yearn $800 worth but it's pretty cool.

I saw it a week or 2 ago and thought the same. That and it looks a little too much like the Pittsburgh pirate and since I’m currently staying in that area I didn’t want anyone to mistake me for a local.

That watch is an abomination in the eyes of God and man. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I’m sorely disappointed in YOU Greg. We will be discussing this later.

The watch one wears should be a quality Swiss timepiece, with an automatic movement, not kitsch. This was posted under 'Living Well" after all.

Cool, but not $800 cool, and I’ve jacked off more on less!

I have a Seamaster, a GShock, several TAGs, and a couple of Hamiltons, I’m not picky. I still won’t give $800 for a Lumi.

I'm a bit of collector, Panerai and Rolex (name a model and I most likely have it) are my preferred brands, have IWC,Pateks, AP's, others as well. As someone previously posted, "the timepiece should be Swiss and automatic" finances not being a consideration, I agree. Omegas, lose about 75% of their value on trade, Breitlings, about 75% as well. TAG, the only one worth having is the Monaco for the 'coolness' factor, and these are very inexpensive to purchase (avg $4k) others don't bother. Yep, a bit of a watch snob, to each his own.
