I’m not a jarhead, rather a former zoomie ( that’s nice speak for chair force). I did work joint service operations with them ( I still remember Lcpl. Bohager. Referred to as boat anchor ) and they are some of my fondest memories of military service ( explaining enlisted rank to marines when we still had two up or three up indicators for enlisted senior rank) But I still use the brothers when teaching tourniquet use.

I tell them put it on high and tight like a jarhead haircut. You know what? Everyone gets it, so the history of the devil dogs is ingrained with the history of the USA

Happy b-day. Devil dogs..... from someone issued an umbrella instead of a poncho. ;)
