Mindset
Holy cow, the last 6-8 months have been a crash course in just how important mindset is to one's success. I started a new job in November, which was a major shift in sectors. But along with the job, I began to work on my brain. Books like "The One Thing" "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and "Think and Grow Rich" along with various Podcasts that reinforced learning and want>believe>achieve or an abundance mindset began to be my focus. Prior to this, I had been in a commission based position with a woe is me mindset. As you can imagine, with that attitude I survived but was not thriving.
I now have an investment account, an IRA, a Vacation fund and will have both cars paid off this month. And most importantly I can occasionally afford to buy a new firearm without sacrificing elsewhere to do so. Many of you would laugh at the amounts in the accounts I mentioned, and I ain't mad at ya. Instead, I am on the road to laugh at those amounts in the next couple of years myself.
I wanted to thank everyone here for the inspiration to Thrive, and to be the gentleman killer. So thanks Gabe. Keep up the Fire.
