A week ago I got back from Ashland Oregon. A friend of mine asked if I would come up there a build a couple of office tables for his business. He already had the two walnut slabs and had no idea what to do with them, so I figured something out... I do a lot of different things, but it’s always fun when you get paid to make something different and cool...

That maple was cut with a chainsaw type ripper. It was a shit ton of work to make it look good..

Beautiful slabs, well done.
I've always wanted to do something like that, but so far have only played on a much smaller scale.
Very nice work.

It’s hard to find reasonable slabs. These would cost around 2500.00. That big table is 11’ x 4’ around 3” thick.

Pretty cool! One things for sure, that’s the kind of table you could flip to it’s side and take cover behind! Lol
