Anyone been to French Polynesia?

I bought some last minute tickets to Bora Bora and a few other places in French Polynesia, and planned a vacation for the wife and I.

Has anyone been? Anywhere we should avoid specifically? Anything or anywhere we should definitely go, other than the standard stuff?
