Thinking of a vest that serve in both casual and business casual role, something that would look equally good with slacks and a jacket or dressing up "jeans 'n boots" attire. None of the trendy skinny-fit gayness- something that doesn't hang like a gunny sack, but still provides coverage for AIWB carry. Same material front and back, none of those satin-backed dress vests.

Suggestions?

If your main goal with the vest is to hide that you're carrying...... this should probably throw people waaaaay off the scent.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180816/628c1cbf0cd38fd542b795bd0ef56f70.jpg

LOL. Not my main goal, no, but always a consideration.

Filson wool vests if appropriate for your climate

I've worn Carhartt for years . They're pretty good . I've wanted to try a Filson wool .

Cripple Creek/ Wyoming traders. Have canvas and wool options; all western styled and fit in where appropriate (jeans, boots and collared shirt specifically).

Check Orvis. They have quite a few from which to choose.

Wahmaker make some I've had in the past western 1800ss patterns and cuts in dress and work styles. Not sure they're still in business but they're good to go

Oh, that's going to put a crimp in your draw from appendix carry.
